We had a great experience with Patrick, Marcus, Reggie and the team from The Local Electrician. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to find an electrician. We had a few jobs that needed doing from mounting a TV to installing a floodlight and having our down-lights in our kitchen replaced and fans installed in our bedrooms. They always kept us informed with any updates they had on the work they were doing and always informed us if there was anything we needed to confirm. Will be back again!

We had an amazing experience with Nick. He was on time, very friendly and helpful.He listened to the issue (which I had tried to sort with several other electricians) and he explained the options of what could be the problem.He didn’t try to push us to get unnecessary work done as other electricians had done. Instead suggested getting the hot water system checked first as that was possibly the issue. Turns out that is what it was and an easy fix.Would 100% recommend The Local Electrician.Thanks Nick for helping us sort this issue that had caused our electricity bill to sky rocket!

Hamzi came to quote on a job at my mum's house today. He was extremely genuine, efficient, and professional. Hamzi explained the situation with my mum's old electrical board which was not compliant had asbestos and needed urgent upgrading. He was so patient with both my mum and my older sister who was informed of the situation. He sent her the quote immediately. I would recommend this professional electrician and his company. Hamzi knew how to break down complex issues into plain language. As the decision is out of my hands now I would recommend Hamzi and hope he gets lots of work in the future.

Nick came and assessed a meter box in an old art deco building that two other electricians had told me was too difficult and needed specialised electricians to complete. 1. Had someone out to me within a couple hours of calling.2. Was upfront with pricing.3. Due to the problem i was having they investigated further and found dodgy wiring from previous owner (undersized wire and over sized CB = 🔥)4. Within a couple days had ordered all the parts needed and out early morning fixing it.5. Completed all works (even in cold miserable rain outside at the panel); of which a fair amount of work was needed and split between two sparky's.6. Cleaned up after themselves.7. Absolutely top notch service, and pretty fair on price. Turns out we had asbestos in the fuse box and no kill switches - pitfalls of being in an old house. Nick gave us no nonsense explanation, and pricing before we agreed. No fee for the quote.Will was the electrician on the job - absolute cracker and all round good guy. One of my jobs was mounting my new 86” TV. Looks bloody fantastic, with all new power outlets and cables all hidden away. Will was super pedantic, and said he installed it the way he would’ve installed it for himself. Very detail oriented and completely professional.I would not hesitate to recommend these guys. I’m so happy with the work they’ve done, and though we had a couple of surprise expenses, I felt pricing was more than fair. Use them for your next job - I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

I contacted The Local Electrician in relation to replacing an asbestos meter board and some other general electrical work. It wasn't long until I was contacted by Nick who arrived as planned the following morning. He was polite and friendly and I was immediately impressed by his knowledge and understanding of what I wanted done ... he provided me with a detailed quote and was able to answer all of my questions and offer suggestions as to the best options to get the desired outcomes. I checked out the business through various sources and was happy to accept the quote in the knowledge that I would get a high quality job done by a reputable company for a reasonable cost. We arranged a date and time for the work to be completed ... the guys arrived on time and after an on site briefing by Nick, Ben and Hoss got stuck in and completed the jobs with a minimum of fuss. Ben in particular made what seemed to me to be a complex job look rather easy. Everything seemed to go smoothly and I am very satisfied with the work done. I would have no hesitation in recommending The Local Electrician on the basis that they are very professional, highly skilled, well organised, reliable, responsive, polite and importantly, customer focussed.

Our power pole went down in a storm. My email sent at 7:20am was responded to within ten minutes with a phone call. As soon as they had the new pole, Jordan and John worked all day in the pouring rain to get us reconnected. Apart from doing a brilliant job in less than ideal conditions, they were also really lovely people. Couldn't recommend them more highly.

Highly recommend. With the wild weather our power pole came down in the middle of the night leaving us with no power. Jordan and John worked all day in the worst conditions to install a new pole and restore our power. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these guys.

We had no electricity and couldn't figure out what the issue was. Ben came figured out the issue, inspected the fuse box, resetted the safety switches, changed a melted PowerPoint (thanks to our dodgy builder) all in under 20minutes. We have power again, all for the minimum cost of $198 (which waives the $45 call out fee). Very happy with the service.

I got home from work at 3am and found that my house had no power. I called The Local Electrician and spoke to one of the guys named Chris. He came out within half an hour. He diagnosed and sorted the problem with my switch board. The price was affordable and the service was fast and efficient. We had no power. It was getting dark. After hours. Even the mains power was off. Thank goodness for The Local Electrician and their 24 hr emergency service. John and his off sider came and working by torch light gave us power to 2 rooms. They came back, in daylight, to find the cause. After that they checked all the power points and cords. They did a thorough job and put everything back in place and plugged everything back in. I was very impressed by them. They are hard working, friendly, and happy to answer questions. I asked for the fish ponds to get power first and they did. Great electricians and great person on the end of the phone.

I have had an extremely positive experience with the Local electrician recently. The issue was a rather complicated and urgent but Nicholas arrived at my house on Saturday morning within an hour after my call. He carried out a very thorough check and provided me with a clear quote and work description as well as a timeframe. The following Monday, 3 boys arrived on time at 7am to start the installation. Nicholas briefed Mark, Sam and Jimmy. I could not recommend more highly! My elderly Mum lives alone in the Sutherland Shire on a clifftop. Twice this year she has had major problems with her overhead electrical cable, resulting in total power loss. On both occasions, Chris and the team immediately leapt into action, reassuring my overwhelmed Mum that she'd be top priority, re-prioritising their workload and quickly arranging the hire of specialised staff and equipment.They use layman's terms to explain the issues and costs and ensure power restoration ASAP. My Mum's previous electrician told her the jobs were too big for him, and it'd take him a week to arrange staff and equipment. Needless to say, these guys are now our go-to for anything electrical.They are experts with a personal, caring touch. What more could you want?!

I recently contacted ‘The Local Electrician’ in regards to some issues I have been having with my lights for several months now. I have contracted four different electricians to investigate the cause of my lights tripping and I was still having issues after spending $1000’s. Paddy Brandtman was on time which none of the other companies had been. He diagnosed the problem within minutes and explained it to me in a way I could understand. He then proceeded to fix the issues and was done in just under an hour. He cleaned the area thoroughly and left in a better state than what it was before he arrived. We had a great experience with Patrick, Marcus, Reggie and the team from The Local Electrician. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to find an electrician. We had a few jobs that needed doing from mounting a TV to installing a floodlight and having our down-lights in our kitchen replaced and fans installed in our bedrooms. They always kept us informed with any updates they had on the work they were doing and always informed us if there was anything we needed to confirm. Will be back again!

We had an amazing experience with Nick. He was on time, very friendly and helpful.He listened to the issue (which I had tried to sort with several other electricians) and he explained the options of what could be the problem.He didn’t try to push us to get unnecessary work done as other electricians had done. Instead suggested getting the hot water system checked first as that was possibly the issue. Turns out that is what it was and an easy fix.Would 100% recommend The Local Electrician.Thanks Nick for helping us sort this issue that had caused our electricity bill to sky rocket!

Hamzi came to quote on a job at my mum's house today. He was extremely genuine, efficient, and professional. Hamzi explained the situation with my mum's old electrical board which was not compliant had asbestos and needed urgent upgrading. He was so patient with both my mum and my older sister who was informed of the situation. He sent her the quote immediately. I would recommend this professional electrician and his company. Hamzi knew how to break down complex issues into plain language. As the decision is out of my hands now I would recommend Hamzi and hope he gets lots of work in the future.

After having an intermittent power issue we ended up with what looked like a failed RCD & no power just on dark. Chris was at our house within an hour of the phone call & had power back on for the night. His team were back early the next morning to work through a number of issues and rectified all our problems. Nick came and assessed a meter box in an old art deco building that two other electricians had told me was too difficult and needed specialised electricians to complete. Nick was amazing and super helpful. John and Marcus completed this complicated job with no fuss, and were polite and lovely to deal with as well. 1. Had someone out to me within a couple hours of calling.2. Was upfront with pricing.3. Due to the problem i was having they investigated further and found dodgy wiring from previous owner (undersized wire and over sized CB = 🔥)4. Within a couple days had ordered all the parts needed and out early morning fixing it.5. Completed all works (even in cold miserable rain outside at the panel); of which a fair amount of work was needed and split between two sparky's.6. Cleaned up after themselves.7. Was very professional in conduct.Would recommend.

Absolutely top notch service, and pretty fair on price. Turns out we had asbestos in the fuse box and no kill switches - pitfalls of being in an old house. Nick gave us no nonsense explanation, and pricing before we agreed. No fee for the quote.Will was the electrician on the job - absolute cracker and all round good guy. One of my jobs was mounting my new 86” TV. Looks bloody fantastic, with all new power outlets and cables all hidden away. Will was super pedantic, and said he installed it the way he would’ve installed it for himself. Very detail oriented and completely professional.I would not hesitate to recommend these guys. I’m so happy with the work they’ve done, and though we had a couple of surprise expenses, I felt pricing was more than fair. Use them for your next job - I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

I contacted The Local Electrician in relation to replacing an asbestos meter board and some other general electrical work. It wasn't long until I was contacted by Nick who arrived as planned the following morning. He was polite and friendly and I was immediately impressed by his knowledge and understanding of what I wanted done ... he provided me with a detailed quote and was able to answer all of my questions and offer suggestions as to the best options to get the desired outcomes. I checked out the business through various sources and was happy to accept the quote in the knowledge that I would get a high quality job done by a reputable company for a reasonable cost. We arranged a date and time for the work to be completed ... the guys arrived on time and after an on site briefing by Nick, Ben and Hoss got stuck in and completed the jobs with a minimum of fuss. Ben in particular made what seemed to me to be a complex job look rather easy. Everything seemed to go smoothly and I am very satisfied with the work done. I would have no hesitation in recommending The Local Electrician on the basis that they are very professional, highly skilled, well organised, reliable, responsive, polite and importantly, customer focussed.

Our power pole went down in a storm. My email sent at 7:20am was responded to within ten minutes with a phone call. As soon as they had the new pole, Jordan and John worked all day in the pouring rain to get us reconnected. Apart from doing a brilliant job in less than ideal conditions, they were also really lovely people. Couldn't recommend them more highly.

Highly recommend. With the wild weather our power pole came down in the middle of the night leaving us with no power. Jordan and John worked all day in the worst conditions to install a new pole and restore our power. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these guys.

We had no electricity and couldn't figure out what the issue was. Ben came figured out the issue, inspected the fuse box, resetted the safety switches, changed a melted PowerPoint (thanks to our dodgy builder) all in under 20minutes. We have power again, all for the minimum cost of $198 (which waives the $45 call out fee). Very happy with the service.

I got home from work at 3am and found that my house had no power. I called The Local Electrician and spoke to one of the guys named Chris. He came out within half an hour. He diagnosed and sorted the problem with my switch board. The price was affordable and the service was fast and efficient. I have booked in the team to install safety switches in my Mother’s house who is an elderly pensioner. Great job for such professional service !

We had no power. It was getting dark. After hours. Even the mains power was off. Thank goodness for The Local Electrician and their 24 hr emergency service. John and his off sider came and working by torch light gave us power to 2 rooms. They came back, in daylight, to find the cause. After that they checked all the power points and cords. They did a thorough job and put everything back in place and plugged everything back in. I was very impressed by them. They are hard working, friendly, and happy to answer questions. I asked for the fish ponds to get power first and they did. Great electricians and great person on the end of the phone.

I have had an extremely positive experience with the Local electrician recently. The issue was a rather complicated and urgent but Nicholas arrived at my house on Saturday morning within an hour after my call. He carried out a very thorough check and provided me with a clear quote and work description as well as a timeframe. The following Monday, 3 boys arrived on time at 7am to start the installation. Nicholas briefed Mark, Sam and Jimmy. They all look young but are very experienced.Sam, Mark and Jimmy, what a great team, They provided a high level of professionalism and workmanship, that differentiates them from the rest in the industry. I could not recommend more highly! My elderly Mum lives alone in the Sutherland Shire on a clifftop. Twice this year she has had major problems with her overhead electrical cable, resulting in total power loss. On both occasions, Chris and the team immediately leapt into action, reassuring my overwhelmed Mum that she'd be top priority, re-prioritising their workload and quickly arranging the hire of specialised staff and equipment.They use layman's terms to explain the issues and costs and ensure power restoration ASAP. My Mum's previous electrician told her the jobs were too big for him, and it'd take him a week to arrange staff and equipment. Needless to say, these guys are now our go-to for anything electrical.They are experts with a personal, caring touch. What more could you want?!

I recently contacted ‘The Local Electrician’ in regards to some issues I have been having with my lights for several months now. I have contracted four different electricians to investigate the cause of my lights tripping and I was still having issues after spending $1000’s. Paddy Brandtman was on time which none of the other companies had been. He diagnosed the problem within minutes and explained it to me in a way I could understand. He then proceeded to fix the issues and was done in just under an hour. He cleaned the area thoroughly and left in a better state than what it was before he arrived.
