Marcus and Peter did an amazing job putting ceiling fans into 4 rooms in our apartment. It was a tricky job due to the location of the sprinklers and a few other things but the guys took their time figuring it out, outlined all the options and advised us on the best way forward. The end result is great and they left the place clean and tidy. The price I found very fair as well considering how much time and effort the job took. We're now looking at doing another smaller job with them too.

Harry and his team were fantastic, my lights went I had only half of my kitchen appliances working. I called the electrician we’ve used for years and he couldn’t find the fault and didn’t have time to help as he was fully booked. Despite the fact that my son had just had surgery and was on crutches - when I called the office they sent Harry out right away and he got everything going again, found the source of the issue and they returned the next day to finish the job! Thank you to all the team, they were polite, punctual and even a bit funny. I will definitely call these guys again to do more work for me!!

110% recommend, fast responses, long term warranty on parts (fans and lights), lifetime warranty on workmanship and labour, great high quality work, high quality products and amazing service.I have never had large electrical work done and was worried about it and ensuring the best outcome but they answered all my questions thoroughly and quickly, sent detailed quotes and gave me competitive price (did research and actually an amazing deal especially with warranties) . The Team replaced an old-fashioned fuse box with a modern circuit box plus installed new plug fittings. The work was performed efficiently & tidily and the Team explained the workings of the new circuit board with advice to check that the safety switches were working efficiently every 3 to 6 months. The Local Electrician was fantastic in the installation and upgrades to our phase 1 to Phase 3 installation. Nothing was to hard when there where obviously some difficulties involved in the install. They just got on with problem solving and got the job done without complaint. They also did various other jobs around our home replacing old light fittings adding additional power points and more. Five electricians where present and all worked as a cohesive team with each electrician assigned to different parts and different jobs working like a well oiled machine. The team was well mannered and Curtis at all times. They where very professional and obviously new what they where doing. They come highly recommended from me. I also employed them based on other reviews.

Nicholas (whose business it is I believe) came out very promptly to assess the work requirement. I had to wait a short period before the work commenced and when it was not completed in one day, I had to set up another date for finalisation. I was expecting to have to wait for at least a couple of weeks, but the return happened just two days later, when they came and did the remaining 5 hours work. The guys all seemed to be knowledgeable and nothing was too difficult for them. I was extremely satisfied with the speed and quality of work done and they kept to the quotation price despite some set backs along the way. All in all, a thoroughly professional and good quality service, so I am very pleased I chose The Local Electrician.

Great service, they came within the hour to an emergency call at night, temp fix then back the next day to complete the work. The second job was a major whole house rewiring. Booked in and completed with a few days. Very happy with the work done , the speed and efficiency too. My fuse box flooded in the floods. Ausgrid cut me off literally. I called The Local Electrician at 5pm Friday night. They came back 7.30am Saturday morning and completely changed my power board over. Today was the first time I have used "The Local Electrician" company. Nick came out yesterday to give us a quote and today they came out to complete the jobWhat an amazing team who worked so well together and completed the job without any hassle. We had a complete switchboard upgrade, new sub board enclosure, surge protector, new 13 circuit with individual switch circuit breakers and a Tesla EV connector with added isolation switch installed.My Power Switch box was an absolute mess with wires everywhere. What Does A Level 2 ASP Mean?
Electricians in Australia must go through advanced training and certification in order to work on different types of jobs. Sydney electricians must hold an ASP (Accredited & Authorised Service Provider) qualification provided by Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy and Essential Energy under the Electricity Supply Act 1995. Electricians can be certified at 3 different levels.
Level 1 ASP Electricians
Electricians holding this certification are permitted to connect residential and commercial properties to electricity network. They are free to extend your network capacity as well as perform electrical installations, electrical repairs and electrical maintenance to your residential and commercial electrical systems. Some of the specific tasks Level 1 ASP electricians can complete include:
- Class 1A: Hanging, laying and jointing electricity cables
- Class 1A: Assembling electricity poles and private power poles

Level 2 ASP Electricians
This specialist electrical services qualification enables l2 electricians to work on live electrical services whether they be overhead or underground. What Is An Electrical Defect Notice?
If you have received an electrical defect notice this means that your current electrical installations are in breach of NSW safety requirements. These notices are typically issued after your premises has failed an Ausgrid or Endeavour Energy inspection.
